So February I can't remember much of! I was pretty broke as having had so much time of at Christmas and around my birthday my hours were so low and my paychecks very little! After you've had some time off it takes a while to get back into the money if your a poor Merchie as you owe rent!
Disney are doing a Limited Time Magic thing this year where each week something fun and new happens for a limited time. A lot of the events are character greetings that are rare, such as Long Lost Friends where you could meet old characters like Robin Hood and the Three Little Pigs. For Valentines Day they also had all the Princesses with their Princes which is rare to see so we got lots of pics. We went for a character breakfast at the Beach Club in the morning too which was so much fun. Filled up on so many pastries, bacon, eggs and mickey waffles!
March has been a busy month with lots of people I care about leaving which sucks. The wrestling has also left Universal Studios :( Managed to get away to Key West for Beckys birthday which was amazing so I'll post about that soon. Three nights of drinking and almost rolling a jet ski in a 5ft wave! We also did a Bowlathon for charity which was fun.
Works still fun, it's just the being poor bit that's hard! Especially seeing the amount Food and Beverage can earn so if anyone reading this is coming out make sure you save up lots if you want to travel! February was quite quiet but now it's Spring Break so def getting busier! Flower and Garden Festival has just started and I love it it's like a miniature version of Food and Wine. I can't believe I only have 3 months left time is flying by so quickly out here and there's still soo much I want to do! A road trip and Vegas if I can! There's a few things I miss about England especially family and friends but I def don't want to leave the sunshine state, I wish everyone could come here - I love having an all year round tan! I do miss Marks and Spencers food though and healthy food, I eat way too much Maccy Ds out here! If anyone feels like sending me Hula Hoops and Malteaser Bunnies/an Easter Egg I will be eternally grateful! They have chocolate bunnies here but no chocolate eggs! Crazy!

January
So pretty soon after my family left I had more visitors! Claire and her fiancee Tom came out to visit me for my Birthday which was amazing! We managed to cram a lot into a few days and did all the parks and ate at Be Our Guest Restaurant for my birthday which was lovely. It was Toms first visit so we made sure he had as many pictures with Mickey and the characters as we could!
Chloe also had her birthday this month so we spent the day at Magic Kingdom followed my Cowboys in the evening. Tom turned 21 so we drank at Hollywood Studios - the Great Movie Ride is so much better after two Rum Runners!
We also had a new roomate - Harry Styles! Marsailidh decided to buy a life size cardboard cut out so I was greeted by this when I got home. Scarred the hell out of me! And every time I left she moved him into a new position like in my bed or right outside the shower. We had a lot of fun with him until we decided to take him to lasses one night and he lost his head :(

Christmas in Florida
Three month catch up!!!
Christmas -
Us merchies decided to do a secret santa and went for a christmas meal at TGI Fridays to exchange gifts. I got the Ariel doll which I love as she is def one of my favourite Princesses! Some of the presents were quite hilarious seeing as there are only a few guys and they decided to get the same present from a Anne Summers style shop if you know what I mean!
A week before my family came out me and my roomate Marsailidh were told a one bed apartment was available for us to move into. We had put in a request ages ago and I really wanted to move by christmas so was so glad to get the news. It's not as close to the clubhouse as we wanted but its still better than being in the ghetto and near my friends. It's also one of the smaller one beds but we are just happy to get out of the 3 bed and this place feels much more like home. Clare helped me pack up all my stuff and we managed to move a lot of it in one trip. Sammie, Becky, Chloe and Kerry helped too and we hadn't told my old roomates we were moving out and somehow managed to pack everything without them noticing.
At some point we rented boats at Fort Wilderness but I can't remember when! Me and Kerry got a little two seater and everyone else got a massive 15 person boat.
My family came out on the 19th for almost 3 weeks and it was so good seeing them especially as I hadn't seen my Mum in 6 months! I managed to get quite a bit of time off work so we did a lot of parks together and it was so nice to stay in their apartment when I could. A huge double bed and jacuzzi bath are luxury compared to where I live! We saw the christmas lights at Hollywood Studios which are amazing and we went to Seaworld to see their Christmas shows. They have an ice skating show which is amazing and fireworks. It was absolutely freezing that night though I was so glad they brought me my Uggs, hoody and scarf!
Mickeys Christmas Parade
Christmas Eve I worked and it definitely didn't feel Christmasy at all! We had Lads and Lasses that night at a house party as people were leaving and it was their lasts. The theme was Barbie so me Kerry and Amy went as cheerleader barbies and wore blonde wigs. I wasn't drinking much as had an early start on Christmas Day but it was a really good night and sad to say goodbye to people.
Christmas Day - I managed to get Christmas day off but I did spend it at work as we decided to go to Epcot. I opened my cards and presents with my family and it was nice to get orange matchmakers as its def not christmas without them! Me Kerry and Chloe decided to make presents as we're so poor. Kerry drew the little mermaid for me and its amazing as shes really good at drawing. Chloe made me a frame with a collage of loads of the things we've done which is really cute. For lunch I got the Candlelight Dinner Package which meant we had dinner in one of the countries, had priority seating for the Canclelight Processional and special fireworl viewing. We ate in Via Napoli in Italy and for the 4th year running I avoided a roast dinner at Christmas as I hate them and I had pasta. The Candlelight Processional is on at Epcot for the weeks leading up to christmas and a celebrity narrator tells the christmas story and there's a choir of cast memeber and kids from local schools. I managed to see it with Gina Davies and Jodi Benson earlier that month but on Christmas Day it was Gary Senise and he was excellent. We managed to go on a few rides and shows and stopped by the UK to see my friends at work. The weather turned out so nice and warm you didn't need a jacket in the evening it was lovely. Still didn't feel at all like christmas though!
New Years Eve - I also had this off and we got to Epcot early as I was worried it would hit phase 1 closing meaning we couldn't enter unless we were staying at a Disney Resort. The queue for bag check was horrendous, probably a good 40 minutes! I knew it would be busy as Epcots really popular on new years eve seeing as you can drink around the world. The wait times for rides was horrendous, 230 for Soarin and 270 for Test Track! I don't know why people bother! We knew we wouldn't get on any rides we just wanted to be there for the fireworks. At 7 we went to the UK to celebrate our new year and I met up with my friends. Then we headed around the world to Italy where there was a DJ and it was insane. It was like being in a rave somewhere, not something you would expect at Disney it was incredible! At around 10pm I met back up with my family who had found a good spot for the fireworks. Except for Epcots 30th Anniversary they were the best fireworks I've seen. Even the video I took doesn't do them justice the noise was so loud.
The night before New Years Eve we went to the Polynesian Resort beach to see Magic Kingdoms fireworks as they put their New Years Eve ones on for two nights

Time Flies When You're Having Fun!
Can't believe I haven't updated for almost two months! The weeks just fly by here it's insane and when you do get some free time when you're not going out or at a park it's spent catching up on washing and cleaning! It's SuperBowl Sunday and I was gonna go watch it at Wall Street but I have just checked my bank balance and with all the time off Ive had in the last month I def can't afford to go out! So I'm off to the clubhouse to watch it where they have free popcorn! I have a post coming soon!

Disney Dream to the Bahamas!
29/11/12
After being ill for the last few days our cruise day finally came round. Six of us booked to go on the Disney Dream for three nights, just $260 each, a bargain! We had a day at the Bahamas and a day at Disneys own Castaway Cay and then came back on the 2nd December. I still had my cold which sucked but I wasn't gonna miss out on the cruise! Some other Ukers were going on it too so we all shared a taxi to Port Canaveral. I've never been on a cruise before and had no idea what to expect. It was incredible. The ship is so big and there's so much to do. We checked in and found our rooms. Me, Kate and Amy had a really nice room that was on the back corner of the boat so it was bigger than I was expecting. Chloe and the two Nathans had the same room but one deck higher. Kate and Amy booked excursions whilst me, Chloe and the boys checked out the pool deck and started on the free food. The best thing about the cruise was it was all inclusive. So at lunchtime there were various quick service places and the restuarants had buffet service and you could have as much as you wanted. Room service as also free so we had endless cookies! Dinner was in a different restaurant each night and your servers were the same as they rotated restaurants with you. Before dinner was a boardway style show and the first night it was called Golden Mickeys. I had never been on a ship before but people had told me you don't really feel the boat move. They lie. After it left the port you could feel it a bit but when we were getting ready for dinner it felt like I was drunk and the room was rocking! We had dinner at Artists Pallette and it was lovely. I had butternut squash soup which was really tasty but with the boat moving I wasn't feeling too good and went to bed early!
The next day we docked at Nassau in the Bahamas. We headed for breakfasr which was amazing as there was soo much food. I wanted to take it home. Amy and Kate had booked an excursion around the Atlantis hotel so me Chloe and the Nathans explored Nassau. When you walk through the market there was soo many people trying to sell you excursions and things. We took a look at the beach and had a little paddle but it was very windy. The sea was gorgeous though and clear blue. About 3 other ships had docked so the place was quite busy. We took a look the the shops and Chloe and I were in heaven as we found Starbucks! They really are everywhere. And we both bought a Starbucks Bahamas mug. Then we found a really cute Christmas store and got a decoration each. We headed back to the ship for lunch which was a buffet and we had soo much. There was all kinds of meat, pizza and pasta and so many deserts including apple crumble and ice cream. We headed to the pool to sunbathe and there is a water slide that goes around the top deck and out over the side of the boat. The boys went on it but then it started raining so we headed to the adult only hottubs that had a see through floor. Later when the girls were back we got ready for dinner and watched the show which was Villains themed and I thought it was the best one. We ate at the Enchanted Garden and me and Chloe reaslied we should order as many appetisers and mains as we want as its free! So we each had two appetisers and she had two mains. Cruise life is the best! There was a pirate party and fireworks on the top deck and then me, Kate and Amy headed to the front of the boat where there were sofas that noone ever seemed to go on and it was nice and quite. I could barely feel the boat moving that night it was so much better. We went to one of the bars that had kareoke and then chilled in the skyline bar where the skyline on the wall changes.
On Saturday we docked at Castaway Cay and the view when we looked out the window was incredible. The weather was so much better than at Nassau and after having breakfast outside overlooking the island we headed out to sunbathe. It wasn;t that busy and we got a good spot on the beach. Food was buffet style again and there was all sorts of burgers, chicken, flatbread and cookies. The boys hired jet skis which sounded amazing and us girls sunbathed and floated in the sea with the assortment of tubes and lilos we hired. It was only about 25 degrees but not bad for the 1st of December! The boat was due to leave at 5pm so we headed back at about 4.30 and were pretty much the last people on the beach, we wanted to make the most of it. Got chatting to the life guards on the way back and they live on the island which must be incredible. We went to the top deck to watch the sun set as we left the island. That night some of us skipped the show as we didn't think it was that good. Dinner was at the Royal Palace and this time I had two starters and three desserts, including escargot! Couldn't work out if I liked them or not but I had about 4 or 5. We were absolutly stuffed after dinner and characters came out to say goodbye as it was our last night so we got some pictures with them. Then we all looked around the stores and spent the rest of the night on the top deck with blankets. By about midnight when we headed back inside I got really seasick and felt awful as it felt like the boat was moving so much. It's the weirdest feeling to describe!
On Sunday we docked at about 7am and had to be at breakfast at 8am and ready to leave the ship. None of us wanted to leave as we had such a good time. We all had post holiday blues even though we were going home to Disney World. I really want to do another cruise but for longer. The free food was definitely one of the best bits! Me and Amy chilled at Downtown Disney as everyone that didn't have to go to work went to Mickeys Christmas Party. Then we spent the evening with Mars watching The Notebook and of course were in tears at the end of it wanting our own Noah!
